Solite wetsuit booties are built with state-of-the-art materials and manufacturing processes. Our goal with every product is to exceed industry standards in both performance and durability. Following these simple care and maintenance steps will go a long way to extend the life of your wetsuit boots:

    1. When putting on your boots, roll down the cuffs and utilize the webbing heel loop to help seat your foot in the boot. Avoid yanking hard on the neoprene upper and over-stressing the seams.
    2. Sharp fingernails are the enemy of neoprene. Although we double-line all of our neoprene uppers on our boots to combat cuts, do your boots (and wetsuit) a favor and cut your nails.
    3. When removing your boots, the best technique is to roll down the cuffs and un-do the velcro strap, then reach as far down into the boot as possible with a few fingers and push the boot down off your heel. Once the heel is out of the heel pocket, it is much easier to slide the rest of your foot out of the boot.
    4. A pair of Solite Heat Booster Socks works wonders to prolong the life of your boots. The socks cut down on friction, making it much easier to put your boots on and take them off. This takes a lot of strain off the boot seams and materials and your boots last longer. Not to mention the Heat Booster Socks increase the warmth of your boots and provide an extra layer of comfort.
    5. The quickest way to dry your Solite wetsuit booties is to rinse them with cool water, squeeze out all of the excess water in the neoprene, then hang them upside down so the water can drain out.
    6. Never leave your boots hanging in direct sunlight or exposed in a hot car. Excessive heat can distort the heat moldable thermo-soles. If you accidentally do this, you can always re-mold your boots.
